Community Hevra Kadisha of Greater Boston
Community Hevra Kadisha of Greater Boston

Synagogue/minyanim membership helps the Hevra Kadisha do its work in the community and there are benefits as well.

  • As part of our mission to deepen communal understanding about our work, we collaborate with our member congregations to support or provide educational programming about tahara and Jewish end of life ritual.
  • Individual members of our member synagogues/minyanim receive $1,000 discount on funeral costs at Brezniak Funeral Directors (when tahara is performed).

To discuss your institution's joining the Hevra Kadisha as a member organization, please contact our executive director, Shahar Colt: shahar.colt@hevrakadisha.org.
