-Shmira (accompanying a deceased person until burial)
-Tahara (ritual washing prior to burial)
A collaboration among Temple Emunah, Hebrew College and numerous synagogues and minyanim, we welcome the entire community to learn about the mitzvot of Shmira and Tahara in an inclusive and supportive setting.
The education and training is guided by Kavod v’Nichum,
(http://www.jewish-funerals.org/) a national organization whose goal is to educate & train local Hevra Kadisha communities.
Support our work and community education programs by donating and having your organi-zation become a member.
