Community Hevra Kadisha of Greater Boston
Community Hevra Kadisha of Greater Boston

Community Partners (synagogues, minyanim, and other Jewish communal organizations) can join the Community Hevra Kadisha through our community membership program. This financial support helps us provide tahara as well as training and educational services for the Greater Boston community.

  • As part of our mission to deepen communal understanding about our work, we collaborate with our member organizations to support and/or provide educational programming about tahara and Jewish end of life ritual.
  • Individuals who are affiliated with a community partner receive a $1,000 discount on funeral costs at Brezniak Funeral Directors (when tahara is performed).

To discuss your institution joining the Hevra Kadisha as a member organization, please contact our Executive Director, Stephanie Levin: stephanie.levin@hevrakadisha.org.
